Job Title: Sound Technician / Sound Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sound Technician/Sound Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality audio for live performances, presentations, and other event activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate sound equipment for live events, including microphones, speakers, and mixing consoles.
• Conduct sound checks and adjust settings for optimal audio quality.
• Monitor audio levels and troubleshoot any sound issues during the event.
• Coordinate with performers, presenters, and other event staff to meet audio requirements.
• Maintain and transport sound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and event protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sound Technician/Sound Engineer, preferably in live event settings.
• Proficient in using various audio equipment and sound engineering software.
• Strong understanding of audio signal flow and acoustics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of wireless microphone systems and frequency coordination.
• Experience with digital mixing consoles.
• Familiarity with audio recording techniques.

Working Conditions:

• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on the event schedule.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
